CAPITALIZATION AND ENHANCEMENT OF IFAD PROJECTS EXPERIENCES IN WEST AND CENTRAL AFRICA
The FIDAFRIQUE Coordination is organizing a regional workshop that will be held in Ouagadougou from 26th to 28th September, 2005. The workshop will contribute to the systemization of a knowledge capitalisation and exchange approach. Through groups’ sessions, participants will be able to enrich, make comments on and amendments to the documents that had been prepared with their assistance. The objective resides in sharing a methodology and tools that each project will adopt.
Two issues will be tackled:
• An approach and tools to gather, enhance and exchange knowledge in relation to rural development as well as projects management. A preliminary diagnosis work will be carried out during the two months preceding the workshop: the projects will be consulted so as to know their gains in the fields of capitalization and experiences sharing. This preparatory stage will be done through questionnaires answering, telephone interviews as well as fields diagnosis.
• The structure of the next version of FIDAFRIQUE which will aim at facilitating the projects contribution to the network and information sharing. A provisional model of the site will be presented to the participants including a part specific to the projects where each one will be able to develop and run its own web pages.
